Hey! I'm Lingy.
3… 2… 1… I know how exciting it is counting down to your special day, and I am just as thrilled to capture all those beautiful candid moments! Oh, about me. I’m Lingy. I am a photographer based in Shepparton, Melbourne, and the surrounding areas. Thank you very much on behalf of the team for visiting our website and considering us for your next shoot.
After winning a local competition in 2015, I started Lingy’s Photography. I’ve always loved photography, but this adventure is probably where my passion for it grew. Capturing those candid moments between you and your loved ones is what gets my heart beating fastest. At Lingy’s Photography, we’re for clients who aren’t afraid to get a little messy, reject the traditional, and care more about the authentic moments than the posed.
If you’re looking for faded over-processing and spending hours away from your guests for the sake of photos, we’re probably not the right fit for you. However, if you want photos that represent life in true and vivid full colour, and you care less about the “extras,” we’re definitely for you. We believe the focus should be on your wedding, event, or birthday – what this once-in-a-lifetime moment is truly about.
A good photo tells a story and is a great tool to help you and your love relive your day after it’s finished. If you’re feeling overwhelmed and like you’ve got no idea what you’re doing, don’t worry. This ain’t our first rodeo, and we’re more than happy to help you get your timeline looking real schmick, so you get the most out of your big day, and we get the most out of photographing it.
If this sounds like you, feel free to shoot us an email. We’d love to be a part of your special day!
Let's meet!
This process usually starts in advance because I like to do my homework. I want to know everything about you as a couple. We can grab a coffee (my treat!) and you can tell me where/when/how you met, but more importantly, where you want your event to be held! I’ll be scouting your location once you’ve booked it and studying where and how to use the space to capture the best possible shots for you and your guests.
